Eng Cuthbert Abigaba Mirembe the MP Kibale County has asked Kamwenge district local government to cooperate with members of Parliament to rehabilitate Community Agricultural Infrastructure Improvement (CAAIP) roads which are currently in a sorry state.

Over the weekend,the area MP traversed his Kibale County Constintuency identifying gaps in different services for the Authorities to follow and work on.Among the services he checked on are roads,water and electricity in the Sub Counties of Kamwenge and Kamwenge town Council,Kahunge and Kahunge town Council,Busiriba and Kabambiro.

In his visit Eng Cuthbert Abigaba Mirembe found most of the roads which were constructed under Community Agricultural Infrastructure Improvement in a sorry state especially in Busiriba Sub County.

Cuthbert said the roads are neither owned by the district nor the Sub County or UNRA but are community roads which are beyond community capacity to maintain.

He asked all stake holders in the district to cooperate with the area MPs to find the means of working on them not only in Busiriba but also in other sub counties so as to improve on the service delivery.

Meanwhile Eng Cuthbert Abigaba Mirembe also used the same visit to go to different churches and contributed  to their development activities.The legislator was fulfilling pledges he made with his electorate.The churches include Kiyagara Church of Uganda Parish,Businge Church of Uganda,St Kagwa Catholic Church of Bishozi Parish and Kabwesana Catholic Church of Kahunge Catholic Parish.
