According to Kamugisha, despite the fact that he had cash that he had just
withdrawn from a mobile money agent, the attackers only made off with his
phone. Kamugisha is also a member of the Kick Age Limit Out of the Constitution
group, a pressure group that backed the scrapping age restrictions on all
elective positions. Some members of the group believe the attack is politically
motivated.
Herbert Anderson Burora, a member of the group and newly appointed Wakiso Deputy Resident District Commissioner, says that this is the second time a member of their group is being attacked by unidentified people.
